There’s not a lot of humor into the Daenerys character in the books (and the show as well), so I was really glad to find this work by Art-Calavera as he depicts the mother of dragons having a hard time controlling her dragons, running around in front of her unsullied.

You don’t have to be in Europe to be in the Eurovision. Azerbaijan is in the Eurovision, and even Morocco was once. You just have to be part of the European broadcasting station. Also, since no other Asian/middle eastern country accepted Israel into their international contests, we had to go for Europe.

Sometimes I do wish that we’d have flashbacks scenes in the show, so we’d get to see younger versions of characters like Ned Stark and Roberto Baratheon… on the other hand, the imagination is much better, and the books expanding on both the present progress and historic events are good enough to keep us happy while still wondering about certain events.

Great fight. Two solid fighters getting in a ring to see who’s better. Obviously the scorecards, or two of them were ridiculous as the fight was in fact much closer on points, but Canelo did his thing. While Trout was the busier fighter, busier does not mean better, he simply couldn’t land a decent or hard shot on Canelo. It’s obvious that Canelo worked on his boxing and defense for this fight which made it real difficult for Trout to get a solid shot. Canelo was clearly gassed out and completely wore himself out by the 6th or 7th round by boxing which is not really what he’s used to doing, but he knew he’d have to be quick and smart against Trout who is himself a full ring boxer. Though Canelo didn’t throw as much and depended on his defense much more than he is used to, he landed beautiful, clean, and hard shots, one that eventually dropped Trout in the 7th. Trout had never been knocked down in any fight before, that says a lot about Canelo’s power. Other than that, the open card scoring is stupid and let Canelo take some rounds off and let him fight smarter later in the fight by knowing he was winning, but even with Trout knowing he was down on the cards, he still didn’t commit to a solid power punch and landed nothing of note in those essential champion rounds. Texas is absolutely corrupt with those two wide scorings, but that does not mean that Canelo did not win, he did, and really, I believe it would’ve been an easier fight if Canelo had conditioned better. Still, the boxer got outboxed and out muscled by the fighter. Although I don’t think Canelo should fight Mayweather just yet, I can’t wait for his next fight. Much respect to Trout as well, he’s got a lot of good fights in him.

Interesting take. I’m not that informed on the whole scoring issue. What’s everyone’s beef with open scoring?
