Game of Thrones Spoilers… beware…
Can’t wait to see the Red Wedding on TV… was crushed when Robb Stark was died, and I couldn’t believe it when I read the lines about the Freys sewing the head of Grey Wind to his body. Art by Munkell

There’s a lot of awesomeness about Littlefinger, but there’s plenty of creepy things about Lord Petyr Baelish. For one, giving Sansa Stark, aka Alayne Stone, a kiss in the snowy Eyrie. Credit goes to the fantastic joscomie, who’s mostly about showing Petyr with the Tully girls.
There’s no fantasy series in the world like A song of Ice and Fire, and there’s no better book in the world than A Storm of Swords. The Sandor - Arya relationship is simply fantastic because of the animosity, but Arya is on the road to becoming something the Hound was, pretty much - A killing machine.
I’m still in an Arya Stark kind of mood this week, so here’s another cute drawing of her’s I found, this time hanging out with Gendry at High Heart, where Gendry gives Arya a flower and actually makes her blush.

For those of you wondering, this happens in A Storm of Swords
Will the two meet again?
Been doing some re-reading, especially of A storm of swords. Been paying much more attention to Roose Bolton. The cruelest man in the north… He doesn’t do it like his bastard son, Ramsay does, but he’s much more terrifying.
My second favorite character is Arya. Man, has she been around, and not in a dirty way. One of her greatest moments is killing the Tickler, Ser Gregor’s torturer. Love this art work because of the words splashed behind, showing the madness and the rage of the moment.
Another night, another awesome piece of A song of ice and fire art. I found this one on this site with a calendar for 2012 theme going on. For those who don’t recognize the scene, this is from the end of A storm of swords, the trial by combat for the life of Tyrion between the Red Viper, father of the Sand Sankes, Oberyn Martell, a fan favorite I have no doubt, fighting against the Mountain that rides, Gregor Clegane. Not hard to guess who’s who. This battle between the two is on of the more highly anticipated scenes when the show, if the show, reaches that point. I suspect it’ll be in season 3, but who knows. A storm of swords is a huge book, and this event can be pushed to a season 4. Who knows.
Meme 1: Favorite Scene
So hard to choose, especially if we’re talking whole series, or if we’re talking books vs. movies. It’s hard to pick just one: Tyrion’s confession at the Eyrie is hilarious on-screen, and some of the scenes they’ve added (Robert and Cersei’s conversation, Littlefinger and…
Best on screen scene for me? Sansa thinking of pushing Joff off the bridge. Seemed like a dream come true, even if I knew she wasn’t going to after reading the book. Best book scene? The Oberyn vs The Mountain battle.
